The primary responsibility of the Divisional Merchandise Manager (DMM), Billion Dollar Babes is to lead all efforts around shaping and executing the vision, leading a team of merchants and production executives to optimize our opportunity in this explosive channel. This key executive will be responsible for identifying key brands that are featured in the world of entertainment, from television, movies & celebrity to sports, music & award shows. Each of these channels regularly feature fashion brands that are triggered by celebrity. The DMM will then develop and execute the brand presentations, negotiations and acquisitions to secure a steady pipeline of events. Our event type pipeline will include private brand sales, celebrity style profiles, movie releases, vintage collectibles, designer trunk shows and celebrity charity auctions. This executive will also develop sound business strategies and financial plans that maximize the opportunity by achieving or exceeding both the sales and gross margin objectives. The DMM is responsible for converting insights from consumer behavior and analysis into actionable initiatives and regularly communicate and share information with both internal and external stakeholders to continue to drive energy and enthusiasm around the opportunity. This position will be based in Los Angeles. Core Responsibilities: • Identify the long-term strategic direction.
